Darwin Nunez's future at Liverpool is continuing to be the subject of speculation as the second transfer window of the summer fast approaches.
The Reds striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield ever since last season drew to a close.
Nunez scored seven goals for Liverpool last term as he played a role in helping the club win the Premier League title.
Now that the Reds will be busy preparing for the new campaign, speculation has been persisting that the Uruguay international could leave Merseyside this summer.
A move to Saudi Arabia has been mentioned on the rumour mill when it comes to Nunez's future over the last few weeks.
Now, an update has emerged about the striker's future, with the transfer window set to reopen on Monday.

The rumours about a move to Saudi Arabia aren't going away, either, with the report also claiming that several clubs in the Saudi Pro League are expressing an interest in signing Nunez this summer.
No specific clubs are mentioned in the report, though, with Al-Hilal being linked in the past.
Nunez has now completed three seasons as a Liverpool player after he moved to Anfield in a deal with Benfica initially worth £64million back in 2022.
The total package for the transfer could reach up to £85million with add-ons if all performance-related landmarks are met.
With Nunez seemingly heading for the exit door at Liverpool, if reports are to be believed, the Reds have been heavily linked with signing a new striker this summer.
