David Moyes is certainly hoping for more consistency as Everton prepare to face Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
More red cards have been issued between Liverpool and Everton than in any other Premier League fixture, and that could be a bad omen before the two sides meet at Anfield on Saturday, 20 September.
The Toffees are hoping to avoid a fifth-straight defeat at Anfield, having last won away in February 2021, and Jack Grealish could be the key for Everton to avoid that unwanted feat.
It would appear, however, that despite the last meeting taking place five months ago, Moyes is still hung up on one of the decisions from referee Samuel Barrott, which defined the result.

When the rivals faced off at Anfield last time in April, the late Diogo Jota scored the only goal in a very tight affair, but there was a huge debate over whether the goal should have stood.
While Jota was nowhere near offside, James Tarkowski lunged into a challenge, possibly due to seeing Luis Diaz behind him, who was standing in an offside position, before coming into play to provide the assist.
Barrott allowed the goal to stand, and with Darren England in charge for the upcoming Merseyside derby, the officials will want to avoid any further controversial moments, especially such key ones.

Arne Slot also saw red in a recent meeting, challenging Michael Oliver after both Abdoulaye Doucoure and Curtis Jones were sent off, as Tarkowski scored a stunning equaliser back in February.
Managers and players alike have to be careful with what they say about Howard Webb‘s referees, with some often facing punishment from the PGMOL due to their comments.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash, Moyes said: “We played them last year and lost to an offside goal.
We want to push them hard and hopefully it will fall in our favour this time.”
The Scot is clearly not over the frustrations of the Toffees’ last trip to Anfield, and if they are to put it right on this occasion, it will take an incredible performance to beat the Reds right now.
Oliver is one of the most capable officials in the Premier League, rarely getting calls wrong in the Premier League, and Moyes will be hoping for more of the same this weekend.
