David Moyes will need his team at their absolute best if Everton are to go unbeaten in four consecutive matches.
As well as beating Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup, the Toffees have risen to sixth in the Premier League table with wins over Brighton and Wolves, and most recently drawing with Aston Villa.
Iliman Ndiaye has continued to star for Everton, scoring twice in his first four matches, but he has been aided significantly by the additions of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall over the summer months.
Jarrad Branthwaite is yet to return from injury, but even so, Moyes’ current squad have more than enough talent for Everton to claim just their fourth win over Liverpool at Anfield since 1992 on Saturday, 20 September.

As already discussed, a win for the Toffees at Anfield has been a very rare achievement during the Premier League era, but many will feel that this is their best chance in quite a while.
Everton last won against their rivals away from home in February 2021, with goals coming from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson, but luckily for Moyes, he has a new weapon up his sleeve.
Throughout his entire career, Grealish has recorded the most goal contributions against the Reds out of any team he has faced, whether that be at Villa or with Man City.

Sadly, he fell down Pep Guardiola‘s pecking order, making just a handful of starts over the last two seasons, but after moving to Merseyside, Grealish is loving life at Everton.
