Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are among those that have reacted to a new message from new Arsenal star Eberechi Eze after his move to the club from Crystal Palace was recently confirmed.

Eze’s transfer saga reached boiling point over the last few days as Arsenal swooped in to try to get a deal to sign him over the line in front of arch-rivals Tottenham.

Tottenham appeared to be on the brink of a deal for Eze wrapped up on 19 August after personal terms had been agreed with his camp, but Arsenal moved in and secured Eze a day later after an injury to Kai Havertz, and he underwent his Gunners medical on Friday (22 August).

Eze was confirmed as an Arsenal player before their game against Leeds on Saturday (23 August) in a move worth a reported £67.5million [Sky Sports], and he was then presented at the Emirates Stadium to thousands of adoring fans before kick-off.

He joined in with Gunners training for the first time on Tuesday (26 August) as he prepares to try to help Mikel Arteta’s side challenge for the Premier League title, and two of his new teammates have now reacted to a new message from Eze online.

Eze’s prior assocations with a number of Arsenal players from his time with England will likely have helped him adjust to life under Arteta.

He shared a new post to his Instagram account on Tuesday (26 August), with a number of photos depicting his first few days at the Gunners, while he also posted one of him in training with Three Lions teammate Rice, alongside the caption: “The climb continues.”

Rice and Saka both reacted to it with likes, while Gabriel Magalhaes, Cole Palmer, Reece James and Myles Lewis-Skelly all followed suit, and Ivan Toney commented: “The boy man,” with heart emojis.

Eze’s talents know no bounds, and despite him now being 27, it does feel as if he has even more to give and better seasons to come than his most recent impressive effort.

The England international has grown into one of the Premier League’s biggest talents over the last few seasons at Selhurst Park, and the fact he grew up as a Gunners fan made it seem as if he always had his heart set on moving to the Emirates Stadium over Spurs.

Football Insider revealed in July that Arsenal were prepared to meet Eze’s release clause, while boyhood supporter Eze wanted to join the Gunners, as also revealed by Football Insider last month.

Arsenal are trying to win the Premier League with him as a key man in attack this season, and they certainly look well-equipped to take the likes of Liverpool and Man City all the way once again.

The fact he already looks to be settling in well will be a huge positive for Arteta and the Gunners, especially ahead of their huge early-season title clash against the Reds on Sunday (31 August).
