Arsenal star Declan Rice dispatched a message dedicated to his new teammate Eberechi Eze after a memorable few days for the club.
It has been one of the busiest transfer windows in recent memory for the Gunners, with seven new arrivals already through the door.
Arsenal have signed the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke, with Eze the latest to make the switch to the Emirates.
The 27-year-old looked destined for Tottenham after weeks of talks with Thomas Frank’s side, only for Arsenal to hijack the deal for Eze from Spurs.
The lure of his boyhood club proved too strong, and he instead chose a move to north London in red.
After Kai Havertz suffered a knee injury on 20 August, the club moved quickly to secure Eze as cover and strengthen their attacking options.
He was unveiled to supporters at the Emirates ahead of the victory over Leeds last weekend, and now Rice has marked the occasion by sending a message of support to his new teammate.

With full confirmation now from the club that Eze has signed, Rice reshared his new teammate’s post on his own Instagram story.

The post included a picture of Eze pitchside with Rice after the victory over Leeds, with the caption: “Just the start” alongside a heart emoji.
Rice has been a key figure for Arsenal ever since his arrival in 2023 and underlined his importance during last season’s Champions League campaign, most notably with two memorable free-kicks against Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Eze’s arrival only adds to the excitement at the Emirates.
The 27-year-old had long been on Mikel Arteta’s radar, with Football Insider reporting back in July that Arsenal were weighing up a move for Eze back in July.
He leaves Crystal Palace as a hero, having scored the winning goal in their FA Cup triumph over Manchester City — a strike that delivered the club’s first ever major trophy.

Despite already making seven additions this summer, the Gunners are pushing for more business before the deadline, with defensive reinforcements now the focus.
Reports suggest Arsenal are in talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, despite initial negotiations with Tottenham, setting up another potential transfer hijack.
With Jakub Kiwior closing in on a move to Porto, Arsenal are determined to bring in a replacement and have identified the Ecuadorian international as a priority in the final days of the window.
