Endo has been one of the many players rumoured to be on the way out, but now sources close to the midfielder have shared his stance on the matter.
“I’ve spoke to people close to Wataru Endo only a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t think he’s going to go, I think he’s determined to stay,” he said.

“And I did not expect that to be totally honest, I thought he would maybe be more willing to move on and want to play more football.
“But, he seems to be happy where he is, he wants to play more, yes, but he wants to battle to do that next season at Liverpool and not give up on his dream of playing for Liverpool.”
The 2025-26 summer transfer window has already been full of change for Liverpool by their standards.
However, the fact that Endo wants to stay at the club is good news as his experience, coupled with his defensive ability, are just two of the things that make him a perfect member of the team.

He’s also never kicked up a fuss and seems genuinely happy to be playing Premier League football, even if it is only now and then.
At the moment, it’s anyone’s guess what Liverpool’s team will look like at the start of the 2025-26 season, but with the way things have kicked off not even a month into the transfer window, Liverpool fans need to get ready for a whirlwind ride.
