Liverpool fans have been able to welcome plenty of new talent in the transfer window but they will also have to say goodbye to some of their current stars.
There has been a clear indication all summer as to which players the Reds are willing to let go, but they also would not allow them to leave unless a big offer arrives.
Harvey Elliott is one player who they will listen to offers for, although their £50m asking price has put a lot of clubs off.
Given how little football he played last season, it is understandable why some teams have moved onto other targets, but there are still plenty of suitors still in the race.
However, unfortunately for Elliott, there is another factor in play now regarding his potential exit, and the Englishman might now be reliant on Chelsea.

Since Todd Boehly took over at Stamford Bridge, Premier League fans have been used to seeing them spend excessively almost every window, and this summer is no different.
And, despite having a wealth of talent at their disposal, they are looking to add RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons to their ranks, a move that could affect Elliott’s future.
According to journalist Philipp Hinze of Sky Germany, Leipzig still have the Liverpool player on their list but it will be difficult to pull off due to financial constraints.

He continues to say that any possible move for Elliott would be dependent on Simons moving to Chelsea, with this affecting the progress of the deal.
Around £60m is what the Dutchman would cost the Blues, giving Leipzig more than enough to then make a move for Elliott.
Whether Elliott wants to make the switch to the Bundesliga is still yet to be seen, but either way, a domino effect could occur in the coming days.
Although the Bundesliga is a great place for young talent, particularly English talent, to thrive, Elliott should opt for a move elsewhere if possible.
Not only do the German outfit not have European football for the first time since their top-flight arrival in 2016, but their team is getting picked apart.
Simons and Benjamin Sesko, two of their best players, are set to leave, with this severely harming Elliott’s chances of thriving as their attack will have taken a real hit.
A move to another Premier League club might be the best move for the 22-year-old as he knows the division well, with a team like Tottenham perhaps good for his career.
Either way, a move away from Anfield seems likely so he can get plenty of minutes, although it is a decision that Liverpool could come back to rue.
