Nottingham Forest’s new signing Dilane Bakwa shared his first message to his new supporters on social media.
Nottingham Forest have seen a busy summer transfer window as they prepare for their first campaign in European football for the first time in 29 years.
Nuno Espirito Santo guided the side to a seventh-placed finish last season, earning them a spot in the Europa League, with plenty of new changes to the squad.
The club have brought in several new faces, as Nottingham Forest have signed James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson, Dan Ndoye and Oleksandr Zinchenko, among others.
They made sure to be active right until the final day of the transfer window, as Forest beat competition to complete the signing of Dilane Bakwa.
Now, the winger has expressed his delight at the move in a message to fans, which quickly drew plenty of reaction online.

Bakwa shared a message to his new supporters after completing his move with a caption on Instagram that read: “Grateful for the chance that has been given to me by joining Nottingham Forest.

He earned plenty of reaction with fellow new signing Arnaud Kalimuendo and Ryan Yates both liking the message.
Leeds had also been linked with a move to Bakwa but faced competition throughout the window with Forest for the winger’s signature, who completed the deal on deadline day.
Nottingham Forest submitted a £21.8million bid for Bakwa at the start of August, but Strasbourg held out for a higher fee, with Forest completing a deal for a fee worth more than £30m.

Following the close of the transfer window, Forest have confirmed their Europa League squad – and Bakwa has been named as part of Nuno’s plans.
However, eyebrows may have been raised with other decisions, as Omari Hutchinson was not included in Forest’s Europa League list, despite signing for the side in a club-record deal earlier this summer.
Other new recruits, such as Kalimuendo and Igor Jesus, were included in the initial squad for the league phase, meaning Bakwa will have the chance to settle quickly into European competition alongside several of Forest’s new faces, but not with their club-record signing.
