Jamie Carragher 'truly devastated' by Diogo Jota passing
Jamie Carragher has been speaking to Sky Sports, describing the death of Diogo Jota as "truly devastating".
He said: "Just in a state of shock really, not just with anyone associated to Liverpool but football in general.
It's one of the few times we all come together, the football family, I cannot believe it.
He seemed a great guy, great footballer but at the moment it's not the time at the moment.
Right now, it's not about the football or Liverpool, it's his family, his parents and the three lovely kids.
"He's just won the league with Liverpool, won the Nations League with Portugal, got married two weeks ago, shows how quickly things can change.
You can't even comprehend really, it makes us all step back really, it shows how unimportant things like football are, you get passionate about the game but at times like this you think, 'why?
What for?'
"You think of the players, he's been at the club five or six years, how those players feel today, what those group of players have done in football.
