Liverpool star Diogo Jota has died at the age of 28.
The Portugal forward and his brother, Andre, were killed in a car crash in Spain on Thursday morning.
And family and friends of the brothers gathered for their funeral in their homeland on Saturday morning after a public wake on Friday.
According to the Spanish Guardia Civil, the accident happened after Jota and his brother’s Lamborghini ‘left the road due to a tyre blow out while overtaking’.
Further details revealed that he was travelling by car from Porto to get a ferry from Santander back to England.
The Portugal international had been advised by doctors not to fly back to Liverpool as he had undergone minor surgery.
News of Jota's death sent shockwaves throughout the football world, with tributes flooding in and fans leaving wreaths, scarves, shirts and flowers at a makeshift shrine outside Anfield.
Liverpool said the club is 'devastated' at the 'unimaginable loss' of their player, while Cristiano Ronaldo said the passing of his international teammate 'doesn't make sense'.

In case you missed it, Oasis kicked off their huge reunion tour last night and paid a touching tribute to Diogo Jota on stage.
The Britpop legends dedicated their performance of fan-favourite anthem 'Live Forever' to the Liverpool star.
A huge display of Jota, with his back turned to show his famous No.20 shirt, was shown on the big screen behind the stage while the band performed.
It's another example of football fans being united in grief over the tragic passing of the Portuguese ace, with the Gallagher brothers famous Man City fans.

The Portugal national team has also posted a video on social media in tribute to Diogo Jota.
"You will always be remembered.
Rest in peace, Diogo Jota," reads the caption, with a short video showing some of his goals and celebrations for his country.

Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva also paid tribute to his Portugal international teammate Diogo Jota after attending his funeral this morning.
"I can't even imagine the pain of the family, of Rute, of the children, of the parents," Silva told Portuguese broadcaster TVI.
"I must talk a little about Jota, who was a great friend to all of us.
"His career, although not the most important thing, speaks for itself.
"We are Portugal and it was essential for us to show that for Andre Silva and Diogo Jota we are together, we will always be together and their spirit will be with us forever.

A sea of Red scarves, shirts, flowers and messages have been placed on the green bank opposite the Hillsborough memorial outside the Liverpool stadium.

The funeral of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva has now finished.
The coffins arrived and were carried into the Capela da Ressurreicao an hour ago, with Ruben Neves among the pallbearers.
A procession of family, friends, teammates and colleagues then also entered the church, while a large crowd of mourners were gathered respectfully outside the gates in support of the family of the two footballers.
A live audio feed of the service was played outside the church for the mourners who had gathered there.
The service started with the Lord's Prayer.
Diogo and Andre's family are Catholic, and a priest in Gondomar told local reporters on Friday that Jota deeply cared about his faith.
The Liverpool star often pointed to the sky in celebration of his goals in a public showing of his beliefs.
Church bells rang out as the service came to a close, as those in attendance began to leave the chapel.

Ahead of Chelsea's 2-1 Club World Cup win over Palmeiras, Pedro Neto gave his own tribute to the brothers.
