Diogo Jota has tragically died at the age of 28 following a road traffic accident, according to a local report in Spain.

Marca say that the Liverpool forward passed away following an accident in Zamora, Spain on Thursday morning.

Another man, aged 26, also died following the accident according to the report.

The news comes just days after the Portugual international got married to his long-term girlfriend Rute Cardoso.
