The funeral of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva will take place this morning after the tragic passing of the Liverpool striker and his brother in a car accident earlier this week.
Jose Manuel Macedo, from the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar in Sao Cosme, confirmed to reporters on Friday that the service will begin at 10 a.m.
Jota and Silva were killed in a car crash near Zamora, Spain, in the early hours of Thursday.
The bodies of the two brothers arrived in hearses just before midnight on Friday and were met with applause by local residents.

Ricardo Horta and Joao Moutinho, who played alongside Jota for the Portuguese national team and now represent Primeira Liga club Braga, were there to pay tribute.
So too were former Liverpool midfielders Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara.
Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot and Nottingham Forest forward Jota Silva were also there on Friday.
FC Porto president Andre Villas-Boas was also present, with Jota playing for the Portuguese club before moving to England.
Back on Merseyside, fans have paid their respects on Thursday and Friday.
