Diogo Jota has scored more home Premier League goals than Manchester United have this season, despite playing 300 fewer minutes.

Jota, who was signed from Wolves for a fee in the region of £40m, has now scored in his first four home league games - against Arsenal, Sheffield United, West Ham United and Leicester - and has become the first man to do so for Liverpool in their history.

Roberto Firmino scored Liverpool's third.

The Reds star has now scored four goals for at home in the top-flight, one more than what United (three) have achieved in even more time.

Jota scored Liverpool's second goal of the night against Leicester on Sunday, with the ex-Wolves star heading in brilliantly after a fantastic Andy Robertson cross from the left-hand side.

Jota's header against Leicester City at Anfield saw the Portugese forward surpass United's tally so far this season.

In fact, Jota's four goals is more from open play than Man City have managed at home, with Pep Guardiola's men notching just two.
