Liverpool’s transformative summer could be beginning to take shape as we close in on the start of this summer’s transfer window.

There is a growing acceptance that this summer will be one of real change for Liverpool, as Arne Slot looks to build on his historic first season in charge of the Reds.

Several players find themselves with doubts over their heads when it comes to securing regular playing time, and it could open the possibility up for multiple departures.

Liverpool face Arsenal at Anfield later today, as the Gunners are set to cap off a bruising week by giving Liverpool a guard of honour before the game, seeing as the Reds wrapped up the Premier league title with four games to spare.

Off the pitch, Arsenal have been quick to do their transfer business, agreeing personal terms with midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and reportedly submitting a bid for Viktor Gyokeres over the last few days.

The Gunners are no doubt looking to strengthen their squad quickly, as they look to bounce back stronger next season.

Liverpool are sure to respond, with the left-back, centre-back and forward line all areas that are being discussed as places of improvement for Arne Slot and his players.

Liverpool’s forward line is a big talking point, as the brilliance of Mohamed Salah this season has often hid the fact that the other attackers have not been pulling their weight this year.

Arne Slot made one signing summer, and that was Federico Chiesa, but the mystery surrounding the Italian has confused the masses.

Chiesa hasn’t started a single Premier League game, and has been limited to a handful of minutes throughout the entirety of the season.

Such displays of a lack of faith from Arne Slot confirms the Italian winger as his sixth choice attacking option at the moment, making an early exit from Liverpool a very likely possibility for Federico Chiesa.

Darwin Nunez continues to frustrate, whilst Luis Diaz has dipped in and out of form this season with Cody Gakpo being the only real constant when he isn’t sidelined with injury.

Diogo Jota is also one that is a growing concern.

Having managed just six Premier League goals this season, the man who is usually Mr.

He might feel that he’s ready to go because he’s not quite been there this season in the Premier League, and he does look like he’s lost.”

The SPL seem to be taking a liking to Liverpool’s forwards, after they have been continoulsy linked with Darwin Nunez as well, as they attempted to sign him back in January.

Amid Liverpool being linked to several attacking stars already in recent months, the current Liverpool attackers could be swayed to move clubs if the right opportunity arrives.
