Diogo Jota married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso just last month in Porto, Portugal, with tragic news being confirmed that the 28-year-old has died.
Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, were killed in a car crash in Spain, just days after their wedding day on June 22, 2025.
An official statement from the club reads: "Liverpool Football Club are devastated by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota.
