Following the news Arne Slot will become the new manager of Liverpool, many supporters are already questioning who else from Feyenoord could be joining the Dutchman at Anfield next season.

It remains to be seen as to whether or not Slot goes down this path, in the same way Erik ten Hag did when bringing Antony and Lisandro Martinez from Ajax to Manchester United.

One Feyenoord player who famously thrived at Liverpool was none other than Dirk Kuyt, who coached a selection of Slot's squad during his time as manager of club's under-19s between 2018 and 2020.

Kuyt told the ECHO in April 2023 there were two players in particular he would like to see at Liverpool, one of which was Orkun Kokcu.

Still only 23 years of age, this could represent a shrewd piece of business for Slot this summer.

"They have a very good manager in Arne Slot and some of the younger guys like Orkun Kokcu and Lutsharel Geertruida are knocking on the door and playing very well.

I hope Liverpool is interested in Feyenoord players, and I am an example it can work!
