Dominik Szoboszlai has called out his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah in a cheeky post on his Instagram.
Like the rest of his Liverpool teammates, Szoboszlai is on holiday after helping the club win the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s first season.
The Liverpool midfielder enjoyed a productive 2024/25 season and played a key role in Liverpool’s historic season.
Szoboszlai made 49 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, scoring eight times and registering nine assists.
He was also the club’s joint-fourth highest goal-scorer in the Premier League behind Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo.
With the season now concluded and Hungary’s World Cup Qualifiers campaign over for now, Szoboszlai is taking a well-deserved break and holiday to recharge his batteries.
While his Anfield teammate Cody Gakpo travelled to Togo, Szoboszalai’s Instagram post suggested he is in Monaco.
The 23-year-old posted a picture on his Instagram story suggesting he was in the principality.
Szoboszlai also posted a picture of himself in the gym, using the opportunity to call out his teammate, Mohamed Salah.
“Can’t find you @Mohamed Salah,” he posted seemingly in reference to Salah’s fitness lifestyle.
The 33-year-old is somewhat of a fitness junkie who is often found in the gym.
He often posts himself working out in the gym, even while on holiday and during the off-season.
However, his recent social media posts suggest he is focused on recharging his batteries and living his best life ahead of what is expected to be an exciting 2025/26 season for Liverpool.
The Reds have been busy in the transfer market bringing in Jermie Frimpong, while working on the deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
Having worked mostly with Trent Alexander-Arnold since he arrived Liverpool, Salah is set to get a new partner is the right side of Liverpool’s attack in Frimpong.
Meanwhile, Szoboszlai could see his place to Wirtz in Liverpool’s attack?
Both players play similar position, although Wirtz’s versatility means Slot can field him alongside Szoboszlai in Liverpool’s XI.
