Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai shared a reaction after fresh news emerged of another player agreeing to leave the club this summer.

The Reds have seen sweeping changes to their squad, with Arne Slot overseeing a major rebuild as he looks to carry on the momentum from winning the Premier League title in his first season in charge.

It has been an unprecedented transfer window for Liverpool, with several big-money arrivals.

Liverpool broke their transfer record to land Florian Wirtz, while also bringing in Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez to strengthen key areas.

However, that level of spending has inevitably been balanced by departures.

Luis Diaz sealed a move to Bayern Munich earlier in the window, while Darwin Nunez made the switch to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Now, with only a few days left before the deadline, another player appears to be on the verge of leaving Anfield, with confirmation expected soon.

Fabrizio Romano revealed on Instagram on 29 August that Kostas Tsimikas has agreed to join Roma on loan until the end of the season.

He added that the Greek international made the Serie A side his “priority” and is now expected to undergo medical tests ahead of the move.

Although the deal has not yet been officially confirmed by either club, Liverpool teammate Szoboszlai reacted to Romano’s post by liking the announcement.

This comes after Football Insider reported that Liverpool were open to offers for Tsimikas in the closing stages of the summer transfer window, with an agreement for a loan now in place.

The 29-year-old no longer appears to be in Slot’s long-term plans following the arrival of Kerkez, who has already moved ahead in the pecking order.

Both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest had shown interest in Tsimikas, but the defender made it clear that his preference was to join Roma, giving the Italian club the upper hand in negotiations.

With Tsimikas heading for the exit, it now looks increasingly likely that Andy Robertson will remain at Anfield despite speculation over his future earlier this summer.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool were willing to consider offers for Robertson, with Atletico Madrid showing strong interest.

However, a deal never materialised and the Spanish club have since cooled their pursuit.

In a further sign of confidence from the club, Robertson has been handed the role of vice-captain under Slot, a move which strongly suggests he will stay on Merseyside for at least the current season.
