Ex-Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes the Blues have got great value with some of their summer transfers – especially when you consider what some of their rivals paid for their new recruits.
Joao Pedro has come in to lead the line and he quickly made an impact at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Brazilian is capable of playing in attack, but also in a deeper role, and he set the west Londoners back £60million when he joined from Brighton.
He's enjoyed an impressive start to the season, scoring two times, and Hasselbaink has referenced how the Chelsea new boy cost less than half the British record fee of £125m that Liverpool had to shell out to get Alexander Isak – who has just one goal across all competitions so far for the Reds – from Newcastle.

When asked if he thought Chelsea got a good deal for Pedro considering what Liverpool paid for Isak, Hasselbaink told Betway: "I think so, yeah, but they are totally different players.
"Joao Pedro is more like a 10.
If he keeps on doing that then his future is going to be really bright."
Alejandro Garnacho was another man bought in by Chelsea late in the transfer window.
His Manchester United exit was always on the cards and he eventually opted for move to Stamford Bridge, costing the west Londoners £40m.
Hasselbaink has again compared the new Blues' recruit to some of the other movers in the Premier League – also citing the £55m Newcastle had to spend to land Antony Elanga – and insists they have got good value.
"They wanted four wingers and he is the fourth one coming in," he said.
He’s direct and quick, he scores goals and also provides assists.
"He’s got lots of games in the Premier League, and they only paid £40million for him.
"If you look at Elanga or Isak and a lot of other players, the big money that they have gone for, Chelsea have done some really great business for Garnacho."
