Jamie Carragher downed eight pints with Borussia Dortmund fans before being told off by UEFA officials for being too loud in the mixed zone after the German club’s Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain.
Carragher and Peter Schmeichel were deployed to conduct post-match interviews in the mixed zone but were warned several times over their noise level.
Before interviewing Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, a merry Carragher revealed that Dortmund fans bought him eight pints.

Carragher and Schmeichel continued to broadcast from the mixed zone.
The ex-defender asked how Alessandro Del Piero had performed as his in-studio replacement before being told off by UEFA staff.
“We have been told to be quiet,” Schmeichel said to a shocked Carragher, who responded: “Are we being too loud?
We’re being too loud in here or in the studio?”
Schmeichel laughed before informing his colleague: “Whatever you say is going out in every interview in the world.”
Carragher continued: “We’re in a mixed zone here.
But let’s just keep it going...”
Abdo interrupted to make fun of Carragher some more, claiming that Del Piero had been better than Carragher and that the former Italy international had formed a new punditry duo with Micah Richards.
But Carragher jumped back in: “Listen, we’re being told to wrap this up because we’re taking your airtime away.
