Initially appointed under-21s coach, Inglethorpe has spent the majority of his time as the Academy manager, ultimately overseeing the progress of players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones from youth level through to the first team.
Alex Inglethorpe recently celebrated a decade with Liverpool having arrived from Tottenham Hotspur back in November 2012.
But despite the air of uncertainty surrounding the Reds at present, Inglethorpe says: "It's business as usual because I'll be able to enjoy Julian's company for the rest of the time that he's here, just as I have the 10 years he has been here.
The times are changing at Liverpool.
