Arsenal are closing in on signing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, who has suffered just one major injury in his career.
While Mikel Arteta bolsters his ranks at the Emirates Stadium, Eze appeared set to join North London rivals Tottenham.
However, the England international, who operates effectively on the left wing and in an attacking midfield role, is set to join Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have set their sights on Yeremi Pino as they look to swiftly replace Eze.

Eze inspired Crystal Palace to FA Cup glory by scoring in their Wembley victory over Manchester City in May.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a career-best return of 14 goals and 12 assists across all competitions for the Eagles last term.
Meanwhile, the biggest injury of Eze’s career came back in the 2020/21 season, when he suffered an achilles tendon problem, causing him to miss 12 games.

Football Insider verdict
Amid a busy summer transfer window, Arsenal have successfully signed Viktor Gyokeres, who can fill the void they previously had at striker.

Gyokeres did not make a great account of himself when the Gunners beat Manchester United 1-0 in the opening game of their Premier League season on Sunday, 17 August.
However, after establishing prolific form at Sporting last term, the former Coventry City ace should be able to produce the goods for Arteta’s men.
Meanwhile, aside from Gyokeres, Eze could be Arsenal‘s second most important addition of the window, after both Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard underperformed last season.
Martinelli scored just eight goals in the Premier League from the left wing in 2024/25, whereas Odegaard managed a similarly poor return of three top-flight strikes.
Eze’s ability to replace either the Brazilian or the Norway international could prove decisive as Arteta’s side vie to beat Liverpool and Manchester City to Premier League glory.
