Ryan Gravenberch – out

Ryan Gravenberch faces a suspension after a red card in the final game of the season vs Crystal Palace last term.

The Dutchman is a big miss and his midfield steel was badly needed in the Community Shield final against the same opposition last term.

After the Palace clash, he will have served his suspension and will be eligible for selection once more.

Joe Gomez – doubt

The defender left the Far East tour in pre-season due to a Achilles tendon compliant.

He returned to training this week, so he could feature off the bench.

After a hamstring injury limited him to 17 appearances last season, Gomez will be eager for a healthier campaign.

His depth at the back could be needed this season should Liverpool not get Marc Guehi over the line.

Conor Bradley – out

Young full-back Conor Bradley remains sidelined with an undefined muscular issue that has kept him out of recent training sessions.

While the exact nature of Bradley’s condition is not known, there is cautious optimism that he may return to light sessions by late August

Bournemouth updateEnes Ünal – out

Striker Enes Ünal has been ruled out until at least mid-October after undergoing knee surgery to repair a torn ligament.

Ünal sustained the injury during a summer training camp, and while the procedure was deemed successful, the rehabilitation process is expected to span 10 to 12 weeks.

Lewis Cook – out

Midfielder Lewis Cook will also miss the start of the season due to a medial knee ligament (MCL) injury?

The 28-year-old, who rejoined Bournemouth last winter, suffered the setback in a pre-season match.

Luis Fernando Sinisterra – doubt

The Colombian winger is currently being assessed for a thigh strain that flared up late in pre-season.

He has trained with the Cherries sqaud during the weekend, but it remains to be seen if he has a part to play at Anfield.

Ryan Christie – doubt

Midfielder Ryan Christie has been managing a groin that has limited his full training involvement

Despite working individually, Christie’s reintegration into team drills has been cautious.

Friday likely comes too soon for the Scot.

Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth)

Another wide option, Justin Kluivert has a calf issue and has suffered setbacks during the pre-season.

A star player for the Cherries, he will be a big miss for Iraloa’s travelling side.

He has not trained with the main sqaud this week and Friday also likely comes to soon for the Dutchman
