Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche says he's "delighted" Hugo Ekitike has earned a move to Liverpool after 18 months with the Bundesliga side.
The 22-year-old becomes the Reds' seventh signing of the summer after completing a deal worth a potential £79m from Frankfurt on Wednesday.
The signing of Ekitike takes Liverpool's spending close to £300m after the additions of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Armin Pecsi, Freddie Woodman and Giorgi Mamardashvili.
The France Under-21 international has signed a six-year deal at Anfield after impressing with Frankfurt in Germany over the last 18 months.
Ekitike initially joined Frankfurt on a loan deal from French side Paris Saint-Germain in February 2024, before the deal was made permanent before the end of the 2023/2024 season.

During his time in Germany, the forward scored 26 goals in 64 appearances to help Frankfurt secure Champions League qualification via their Bundesliga position in consecutive seasons.
And after completing his move to the Premier League champions on Wednesday, Krosche was full of praise for Ekitike's short but sweet stint at the Deutsche Bank Park.
"Hugo has improved tremendously in his 18 months with us and he has been a real asset to our team and the club as a whole on and off the pitch," said Krosche, reacting to the news.
"We're delighted he can now take the next step - a step he has earned through his performances with us."
After signing a six-year contract with Liverpool, Ekitike will now jet out to the Far East to join his new teammates, on the club's ongoing pre-season tour.
