Axel Disasi has sent his warm regards to a former Chelsea teammate after their departure from the club was sealed.
After just two seasons with the Blues it is looking like the Frenchman will also be leaving Stamford Bridge after Bournemouth opened talks with Chelsea for Axel Disasi.
Following a below average loan spell with Aston Villa for the second half of the last campaign, Aston Villa fans urged the club to send Disasi back to his parent club.
Now, the unwanted defender is lining up a potential move to the south coast, departing from Chelsea just as ex-teammate Carney Chukwuemeka has done.

Chukwuemeka joined Borussia Dortmund from Chelsea for a deal reported to be around £24million (BBC Sport) as he goes to link up with compatriot Jobe Bellingham in Germany.
Taking to Instagram stories (26 August), the French centre-back sent a reply to the 21-year-old’s post holding the number 17 yellow and black shirt of Dortmund.

Football Insider verdict
Given his spell at Villa Park failed to prove to Enzo Maresca why he should force his way back into the starting XI, an opportunity to work under Andoni Iraola is a crucial moment in the Frenchman’s career.
Having lost both Dean Huijsen and Ilia Zabarnyi in the summer, the Cherries are looking light at the back, opening up a chance for Disasi to stake his claim for the number one spot at the back.
The signing of Bafode Diakite adds another competitor for a spot in the backline alongside Marcos Senesi, but if the centre-back can find his form during his time at Monaco, he could become a first-team regular under the Spaniard.

Moreover, with the potential deal including a loan-to-buy clause, the Blues would be winning by getting rid of an unwanted asset.
Todd Boehly and Maresca have been ruthless this summer in their transfer operations, selling and spending at will.
Yet, with a long-term injury for Levi Colwill, will Disasi’s exit lead to the west London side bringing in another centre-back in the closing moments of the window?
