Man City forward Erling Haaland shared a response after fresh speculation emerged over a teammate’s potential exit.
Man City have endured a busy summer window as Pep Guardiola looks to rebuild following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign.
Several new arrivals have already come through the door, with Man City adding Rayan Cherki, James Trafford and Tijjani Reijnders to the squad.
But the overhaul has also meant departures, with high-profile names such as Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne leaving Guardiola’s side earlier in the window, in what has felt like the start of a new era at the Etihad.
Now, a transfer update on social media has suggested another player could be on the way out before the window closes, drawing a quick reaction from Haaland.

Fabrizio Romano revealed on Instagram that Man City’s new signing Sverre Nypan is set to leave on loan and join Middlesbrough in the coming days.
He added that Nypan is “happy to join” the Championship side, with the Cityzens preferring a move within England rather than sending him abroad.

His fellow Norwegian teammate Haaland reacted to the news by liking the update on social media.
Nypan only joined Man City earlier this summer after the club beat competition from the likes of Arsenal and Aston Villa, who both showed strong interest during the winter window.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a rapid rise into the senior team at his previous club Rosenborg, where he made his debut at just 15 years old.
He went on to make 70 first-team appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists, while also becoming a regular for Norway’s under-21 side.

While City have sanctioned an exit for one of their younger prospects, there are bigger worries over the future of one of their key players.
Football Insider revealed that Man City are concerned about Rodri’s future, with Real Madrid making their interest in the Ballon d’Or winner known.
The club are working behind the scenes to agree a new contract with the Spaniard, who has two years left on his current deal, but talks have yet to show any real progress.
