Erling Haaland 'stance' on Liverpool transfer and list of six possible clubs

Liverpool are reportedly on the list of Erling Haaland's ideal next transfer destination.

"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy Haaland and give the platform you would like after you've been in Dortmund… and four of those clubs are in England "I don't think there's a sports director or trainer in the world who would say 'not interested'.

Liverpool have been mooted as a potential destination for Haaland, with his pace, power and finishing ability seemingly readymade for Jurgen Klopp's style of football.

Reports in Germany have now claimed that Liverpool are one of just six clubs Haaland views as a potential next destination.

Haaland has connections to both Man United and Man City, having played under Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde and seen his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, play for City in the early 2000s.

Despite it only just being over 12 months since Haaland moved to Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg, the 20-year-old's phenomenal form at the German club has already seen him linked with another transfer, especially with concerns over whether Dortmund will qualify for the Champions League next season.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are the other two clubs listed as a potential destination for Haaland but it remains to be seen whether either of the Spanish giants can afford him due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
