Striker Erling Haaland has once again placed his confidence in Manchester City bosses overcoming the 'tricky situation' surrounding their charges of alleged Premier League financial rule breaking.
Liverpool wait to see what becomes of their rivals as the wait for a final verdict goes on.
Back in January, Haaland put pen to paper on a nine-and-a-half-year contract lasting until 2034 at City.
As the longest-ever in football it was indicative of the club's appreciation for their No.9's contributions, with the Norwegian ending his third season in England with 124 strikes in 146 appearances.
And as he has now explained on multiple occasions, Haaland was happy to commit his future despite the threat of his club being found guilty over their alleged financial breaches.

"I spoke with the bosses, and in the end, I believe them.
That’s why."
It was in February 2023 when City were dealt more than 115 charges of allegedly breaking the Premier League's financial rules between 2009 and 2018, and then failing to cooperate with the investigation.
The club has been adamant that they have done no wrong and say they have 'irrefutable evidence' to prove as such.
This evidence should have been submitted during the tribunal that took place between last September and December, for which now it is claimed the final verdict will only arrive in October at the earliest.
Premier League CEO Richard Masters has now apologised for the long wait time involved.
Liverpool continue to wait on the sidelines to see what happens to their rivals, who have desires to reclaim the Premier League title from Arne Slot's side in the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
Speculation has been intense at times over what punishment Pep Guardiola and Co.
would have to deal with if found guilty, ranging from points deductions and relegation to stripped titles.

Whichever way the end verdict goes, it has been said either City or the league themselves are expected to appeal and trigger the indefinite extension of the case.
