There is another Luis Diaz update coming out of Germany.
The Colombian winger’s future has been one of the major stories in the front pages of Liverpool news recently.
Diaz was one of the stand out performers in Arne Slot’s first seaon at Anfield and there is no doubt that the Dutch coach rates him highly.
However, he continues to be linked with a move away from Liverpool despite the club’s desire to keep him.
Liverpool have since opened contract talks with him but so far it appears those talks have stalled.
This has led to much speculation about his future amid strong strong from other clubs.
Initially Barcelona and Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr were considered the most interested in signing him.
However, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have emerged as being serious in the race for Diaz.
The Bavarians are keen on signing a left winger this season and the 28-year-old has emerged as a possible target.
Yesterday Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg revealed that Bayern have àmade him their No?
1 target for the left wing position.
And now Christian Falk has reported that the German champions have made a concrete offer the 28-year-old.
According to the report, Bayern’s director “Max Eberl has now made a concrete approach to Luis Díaz” with discussions held over specific figures in order to make an offer.
