Dominic Calvert-Lewin shared an emotional and passionate message after his new transfer was officially confirmed.
The striker endured another frustrating season at Everton last term, with injuries once again halting any momentum he tried to build.
For the 28-year-old, it brought the curtain down on a nine-year stay in which he made 273 appearances, scored 71 goals and provided 22 assists across all competitions, having arrived from Sheffield United back in 2016.
His availability attracted plenty of interest, with Football Insider revealing Manchester United and Newcastle had considered a move for Calvert-Lewin.
However, it has now been confirmed that Leeds United have beaten off strong competition to secure his signature.

Plenty of support followed the announcement, with former teammate Idrissa Gueye commenting: “All the best champ” and Doucoure sharing an applause emoji.
Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Morgan Gibbs-White and Antonee Robinson were also among those to react by liking the post.
However, the response from fans has been far less enthusiastic, with many Leeds supporters voicing concerns over Calvert-Lewin.
The Toffees have instead put their faith in Thierno Barry to lead the line this season.

While one former Everton forward has already arrived at Elland Road, Leeds remain interested in another.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 15 August that Leeds are preparing a formal bid for Beto after reports of a falling out with David Moyes.
The Everton boss is said to be unhappy with the striker’s attitude during pre-season, and Leeds are now looking to take advantage of the situation with a late swoop for the 27-year-old.
