Everton fans have reacted in unison to call for the club to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after the most recent update.
The Toffees are undergoing a summer rebuild, with The Friedkin Group eager to back David Moyes in his first full transfer window since returning to the club last season.
There have already been several notable departures, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ashley Young all leaving Everton upon the expiry of their contracts.
In turn, fresh faces have started to arrive.
Everton have already secured the signing of Thierno Barry and are in advanced talks to bring in Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling.
Now, it appears midfield is becoming a priority in their recruitment drive, and supporters are rallying around the idea of Dewsbury-Hall making the switch after the latest update on the club’s pursuit of the Chelsea midfielder.

Fabrizio Romano revealed on X that Everton have now submitted an official bid to sign Dewsbury-Hall on a permanent deal this summer.

He added that “club-to-club talks” are already underway and that Chelsea are “open” to allowing the midfielder to leave, despite signing him just last summer.
Back in February, Football Insider reported that Chelsea would consider selling Dewsbury-Hall for a reduced fee after they failed to move him on in the January window.
The 26-year-old played a rotational role under Enzo Maresca last season, with Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo firmly ahead of him in the pecking order.
He made 36 appearances across all competitions but managed just two Premier League starts and failed to register a league goal, but still contributed five goals and four assists in total.
Chelsea fans had already voiced their frustration at Dewsbury-Hall earlier in the season, calling for him to be sold following a series of underwhelming displays when given rare opportunities.
Now, it seems a move away from Stamford Bridge could be edging closer.

Football Insider revealed Everton’s strong interest in Dewsbury-Hall back in January, but a deal never came to fruition.
That interest has now been reignited, with the Toffees stepping up their pursuit as talks progress over a potential agreement.
West Ham and Fulham have also been linked with the midfielder, but Everton appear to have made the most significant move so far.
Supporters have been vocal in their support of the potential signing following the update, with one fan posting: “Would be an excellent signing, this” and another saying: “The type of player we need.”
