Representatives from Everton laid wreaths at Anfield as the club continued to support the tributes to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva.
Club ambassador, former player Ian Snodin, and first-team forwards Youssef Chermiti and Beto attended the Liverpool FC stadium on Friday afternoon to add the Blues’ tributes to the thousands laid at the ground.
The brothers died in a car crash in Spain, prompting an outpouring of grief across the world of football and beyond.
After helping Liverpool to win the Premier League title, Jota was part of the Portugal side that clinched the UEFA Nations League this summer.

Chermiti and Beto were both born in Portugal and, as Everton's players returned to the Finch Farm training ground for the start of pre-season on Friday, it was agreed they would be the most fitting representatives to lay the tributes.
The touching gesture was the latest show of solidarity between the two clubs following the tragedy.

Everton paid tribute in the aftermath of the news, writing: “Everyone at Everton is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva.
Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this sad time.”
Liverpool immediately expressed gratitude following the Blues’ attendance at Anfield, sharing images of the visit online and writing: “A touching and much appreciated show of support from Everton, as they pay their respects to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva at Anfield this afternoon.”
Dad-of-three Jota, 28, had married long-term partner Rute Cardaso just weeks before the tragedy.

He and his 26-year-old brother, who played football in Portugal for Penafiel, will be laid to rest at a service in Portugal on Saturday morning.
