Hello and welcome to the Liverpool ECHO's live coverage of the Merseyside derby from Goodison Park.
Everton and Liverpool will clash with the finish line in sight for the Premier League season - with each team looking to fulfil very different ambitions in the remaining weeks.
The Reds are still in the title hunt and have the chance to move level on points with league leaders Arsenal with a victory.
Liverpool trail the Gunners by three points having played a game less, while Manchester City are four points off the top with two games in hand on the leaders.
As for Everton, a win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday eased some relegation fears.
However, Sean Dyche's side are not out of the mire yet - they are five points clear of the drop zone - and will want to take a big step toward safety with a famous win.
The Blues have not won against Liverpool at Goodison for 14 years, although five of the last six derbies at the stadium have finished as draws.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will also be desperate to earn a victory in what is his last derby before he leaves the club at the end of the season.
We'll have updates from Everton reporters Joe Thomas and Chris Beesley as well as our Liverpool correspondents Paul Gorst, Ian Doyle and Theo Squires in the blog before, during and after the match.
