Follow all of the action as Liverpool take on bitter rivals Everton tonight in a crucial Merseyside derby, exclusively live on talkSPORT.

The Reds remain in the Premier League title race alongside Arsenal and Manchester City but their fate is currently in the reigning champions’ hands.

Jurgen Klopp’s men must win to keep their hopes alive but Sean Dyche will have the same mentality for his side.

Following a controversial win against Nottingham Forest, the Toffees have moved five points clear of the relegation zone and one more victory would surely secure their safety.

Kick-off at Goodison Park is scheduled for 8pm. .

Klopp is pleased with the state of his squad for the final few games of the season, with their injury-plagued spell seemingly coming to an end.

“The squad situation, at the moment, hopefully, it stays like that, it is as good as it has been this season,” the Liverpool boss said.

“If you saw our bench today [Sunday], it was real quality and experience.

“I loved all the kids who played for us, they did an incredible job, and we wouldn’t be where we are without them, but it’s cool, for once, to have all the big guns as well.

“Now we have to stay gritty, stay on it

Let’s see what we can do.”

Everton will be without striker Beto after he was stretchered off and taken to hospital following a clash of heads in the Forest game.

Seamus Coleman could return to action but Nathan Patterson, Lewis Dobbin and Dele Alli will all remain sidelined.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jarrad Branthwaite are both fit after recovering from knocks and starting at the weekend.

As for Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister are all expected to start after being rested against Fulham.

The star trio should come back into the line-up alongside Ibrahima Konate and Dominik Szoboszlai while Thiago and Joel Matop remain out.

Diogo Jota is unavailable after sustaining an injury at the weekend.

Trent Alexander-Arnold may not be risked so soon after their last outing as they have both just returned from injury.

Klopp is set for his final Merseyside derby as Liverpool manager.

He has faced Everton 16 times in the Premier League since joining the Reds in 2015.

Out of those 16 meetings, his side have come out on top in nine of them, drawing six and losing one - with that loss coming in February 2021.

Since then, Liverpool have dominated the derby and haven’t conceded a single goal in their last four clashes.

Should they win Klopp’s final derby, the German will become the first-ever Reds boss to win 10 league games against their bitter rivals.

And he can become the club's second manager ever to win both his first and last derby against Everton, emulating legend Kenny Dalglish.

Everton have the chance to wreck Liverpool's Premier League title dreams in Jurgen Klopp's final-ever Merseyside derby tonight.

The arch-rivals are desperate for points at opposite ends of the table but come into this fixture buoyed by pivotal weekend wins.

Everton eased their relegation fears by moving five points clear of the drop following a controversial 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

And Liverpool bounced back from crashing out of the Europa League with a hard-fought 3-1 away victory against Fulham.

The Reds remain only below Arsenal on goal difference at the top of the table, and both teams need to put the pressure on Manchester City - who can reclaim first place should they win their game-in-hand.
