Liverpool have been incredibly busy in the transfer market this summer, spending heavily but also recouping their losses in several departures from Anfield.
Arne Slot is looking to shape the Liverpool squad to his liking after proving he is the man to lead them forward following Jurgen Klopp’s departure from the club in May 2024.
The Dutch manager would guide the club to their 20th English top-flight title, and now Liverpool want to build on this success from a strong position and have invested heavily in Slot.
Liverpool agreed to two transfer signings last season, with the first coming in the shape of Federico Chiesa, who joined from Juventus for a reported fee of £10 million.
Meanwhile, their next signing was Giorgi Mamardashvili, with a deal between Liverpool and Valencia being struck in August 2024; however, the Georgian keeper would remain in La Liga for the campaign with the Spanish club before joining the Reds ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Liverpool got their business started early this summer, but they have continued to be linked to players throughout the window, with this set to continue right up to the close of business on September 1.
The Reds have added eight new arrivals this summer, with the latest being Giovanni Leoni from Parma.

The most notable signings have been the additions of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez.
Liverpool have spent nearly £200 million on bringing these players to Anfield this summer, according to Transfermarkt.
Wirtz and Frimpong joined the Premier League champions from Bayer Leverkusen, while Hugo Ekitike joined from fellow Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

The defensive reinforcement of Milos Kerkez joined from Bournemouth, while recent addition Giovanni Leoni was signed from Parma.
Liverpool also made some additions looking towards the future this summer in the shape of Ármin Pécsi from Puskas in Hungary and Will Wright from Salford City, while Freddie Woodman has been brought in for free from Preston North End.

Liverpool may have spent heavily this summer; however, they have recouped this money through several player sales of some notable Liverpool favourites.
The Reds bid farewell to Darwin Nunez, as the Uruguayan made the move to Saudi Arabia, Caoimhin Kelleher moved to Premier League rivals Brentford, and Luis Diaz made the switch to Bayern Munich.

Liverpool have also looked to further the development of several of their youth, as they have sent them off to clubs across the English divisions and Europe to gain first-team experience in the hope they can have a significant impact in the future.
Notably, Owen Beck has joined Derby County in the Championship, while Lewis Koumas has joined Birmingham City.
Meanwhile, several players have left Liverpool on free transfers upon the expiry of their current contract, with the biggest name to do this being Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid this summer, despite getting £10 million for the England international.

While Liverpool have done significant business in and out of the club, there is still further business expected this summer.
The Alexander Isak transfer saga is expected to roll on until the window shuts despite it looking clear that Newcastle United will not let him go because they have not managed to secure a replacement.

Meanwhile, the Reds will continue their pursuit of Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, with the move potentially becoming more likely after the Eagles made contact with Manchester City about the acquisition of Manuel Akanji.
Several players also look like they may still leave the club due to rumours that were in place earlier in the summer window, with Harvey Elliott being linked with a permanent move away from Anfield, while there have been reports of Joe Gomez leaving the club for AC Milan.
