However, if Liverpool didn’t take their foot off the gas and refused to perform at the levels they showed in the first 45 minutes, then there wouldn’t have been any anxiousness whatsoever from Liverpool’s side of things.
Liverpool’s luck is bound to run out soon but for now, they can bask in the glory of sitting at the top of the Premier League table.
