Jack Grealish confessed that he became increasingly frustrated with the match officials during the Merseyside derby clash between Liverpool and Everton.

Ryan Gravenberch broke the deadlock for the Reds in the 10th minute of the match, latching onto Mohamed Salah's through ball on the volley to beat Jordan Pickford.

Hugo Ekitike then extended the lead in the 29th minute, before Everton reduced the deficit through Idrissa Gueye after 58 minutes had elapsed.

After the final whistle, Grealish revealed where it all unravelled for Everton on the day.

"Even the stoppage time, what was it, three minutes and one minute?

I've never heard of that in my life."

It comes after Dewsbury-Hall was controversially booked by referee Darren England in the 78th minute for taking a free-kick before the whistle had been blown, desperate to secure an equaliser with precious little time left on the clock.

Grealish also received a yellow card after the final whistle after he approached the officials to challenge their match decisions before Pickford intervened to lead him away.
