Speaking on CBS journalist, Ben Jacobs, has stated that Liverpool may be dropping out of the race for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo due to his inflated pricetag. Liverpool have been in the market for a midfielder as they have not had a good season from the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.

Brighton’s asking price for Caicedo is reportedly more than £75m, which is a steep price for Liverpool who believe that even £65m is too high for the player. This puts Chelsea and Arsenal as the front runners for the player’s signature amid links to both clubs.



Jacobs spoke about the race for Caicedo.
