Liverpool are stepping things up this summer and are already looking to wrap up big deals before the second transfer window even opens.
The Reds are not usually too active in the transfer market and this has led to fans being left rather frustrated at their owners FSG.
However, this summer all those frustrations will have gone as the American owners are clearly happy to back Arne Slot to ensure Liverpool stay at the top of English football.
Based on their transfer activity, however, it looks like they won’t be satisfied just being the best domestically and they will look to build a winning machine to dominate Europe for years to come.
Jeremie Frimpong is done, Florian Wirtz is almost a Liverpool player, and there are still many more expected to come through the door.
One target in particular has been heavily linked with a move and now, it looks like it has been confirmed despite the club remaining silent.

In the modern era of football and journalism, leaks are always likely to happen as many try to break a story before anyone else can get to it first.
However, it is rather unusual for a player’s family to be the ones to confirm a transfer, but that is exactly what has happened in Liverpool’s pursuit of Milos Kerkez.

In a bizarre live stream on Hungarian YouTube channel Super Indirektno, Kerkez and his dad were talking about his future, and it is safe to say they were not afraid to speak their mind.
“It’s only Liverpool for us and we’re not going anywhere else and we won’t talk to other clubs,” the left-back’s dad said when asked whether his son is going to Liverpool.
“Everything is done between us [personal terms] we just need to sort out some details, but it’s basically a done deal.”

It is certainly confirmation Liverpool fans wanted but is not from the source they were expecting, although they won’t mind too much as it looks like they are about to get a new top-quality left-back through the door at Anfield.
A lot was said about sporting director Richard Hughes last summer as many fans were not happy with how he was conducting his business.
Pieces of the Liverpool jigsaw all look like they are starting to fall into place and the Reds are not even done just yet, suggesting that next season could be an extremely exciting one for supporters to look forward to.
