Fabian Otte is set to become part of the coaching staff at Tottenham following the announcement of his departure from Liverpool last week.
Otte only joined Liverpool last year but his departure, along with the exit of Claudio Taffarel, was confirmed as the Reds announced the latest changes to Arne Slot's coaching staff.
Otte, 34, has not been out of work for too long, as he will link up with North London club Spurs in time for the start of the 2025-26 season.
Otte was the head of first-team goalkeeper coaching at Liverpool, while Taffarel worked as a goalkeeper coach; the departures of both men made room for the return of Xavi Valero, who previously worked at Liverpool under Rafa Benitez.

It would be interesting to know what Alisson made of the decision to part ways with Taffarel, who he had worked alongside on Merseyside for the last four years.
Taffarel took up a coaching opportunity under Jurgen Klopp in 2011, and Alisson revealed last year how much he enjoyed working with the legendary former Brazil goalkeeper, who made over 100 appearances for the Selecao and won the World Cup in 1994.
“We are working together since 10 years I think in the national team,” Alisson said of Taffarel, who also works as coach for the Brazil national team.
“I think it is really natural from the beginning.
And he likes to work hard, I know that.
“I think our problem is [making sure] that we don’t push too much – sometimes we have to control a little bit the sessions.

Alisson added: “He (Taffarel) will say maybe sometimes, ‘Maybe that goal you concede, maybe your positioning could be different
