And if the move is to materialize, Liverpool has been told that they should consider reigniting a move for Anthony Gordon after holding interest in him last summer.
That is the belief of former Reds striker Emile Heskey, who believes Gordon to be the perfect option to replace Diaz if he is to leave, with a spot open on that left wing to provide competition alongside Cody Gakpo.

Gordon would be a direct replacement for Diaz if the Colombian was to leave this summer, both being left wingers with blistering pace.

At this point, though, there have been no real reports of the Reds being interested in him this summer, with their attention currently being on his Newcastle teammate, Alexander Isak.
