Phil Jones was spotted alongside Ryan Reynolds as Wrexham were beaten 3-1 by QPR in the Championship on Saturday.
Amid a busy summer transfer window at the Stok Cae Ras, Wrexham signed Dominic Hyam from Blackburn Rovers.
However, despite the addition of Hyam, as well as stars like striker Kieffer Moore and former England defender Conor Coady, Phil Parkinson’s men have won just one Championship game in five attempts.
Meanwhile, midfielder George Evans left Wrexham to join Burton Albion, who lost 1-0 to Lincoln City in League One on 13 September.

Wrexham’s defeat to QPR in the Championship on 13 September marked their third league loss in five second-tier outings this term.
Meanwhile, according to talkSPORT on 13 September, the Red Dragons have held talks over boss Phil Parkinson’s future.
With Parkinson’s position now looking under threat, Jones was spotted watching on as the North Welsh club’s poor form continued.

Mail Sport’s Manchester United reporter, Nathan Salt, wrote on X: “I can’t explain it but Phil Jones is in Ryan Reynolds’ box at Wrexham this afternoon.“
In a second post, Salt added: “Been one suggestion put to me by someone I respect in the game that Wrexham have been putting feelers out to add to the coaching staff.
“Jones was in with Utd’s U18s on a voluntary basis last season.
Could fit the bill.”
While Wrexham have already clinched three consecutive promotions from the National League to the Championship, ambitious owners Reynolds and Rob McElhenney don’t want to stop there, and have their eyes set on the Premier League.

The ownership’s busy transfer window saw Wrexham sign Callum Doyle, but plenty of summer additions haven’t helped the Red Dragons adjust to the second tier so far.
Even though the North Wales outfit want to win promotion to the Premier League, current form suggests that an unwanted return to League One is more likely.
The potential addition of former Man United and England defender Jones could help Parkinson, but the 57-year-old must be acutely aware of the sack pressure he is under.
Therefore, the former Bolton Wanderers must lead his side to positive results in their upcoming clashes with Norwich City and Derby County, either side of their Carabao Cup tie with League One outfit Reading.
