Man United and Everton could avoid further punishment after an on-pitch blow-up between Bruno Fernandes and Iliman Ndiaye.
Supporters are extremely excited for football to return, with just 10 days until the 2025/26 Premier League campaign kicks off, and those fans have been tuning into the Summer Series tournament.
After a disastrous first few months in England, Ruben Amorim‘s side are heading into the new campaign with silverware under their belt, beating the likes of West Ham and Bournemouth, and drawing against Everton.
United’s clash with the Toffees was by far the most entertaining, with Fernandes and Ndiaye exchanging first-half goals before Mason Mount and an Ayden Heaven own goal hit the back of the net in a 2-2 draw.
However, the biggest talking point of the game was the on-pitch feud between the aforementioned duo, grabbing and pushing each other as David Moyes‘ side scored a late equaliser at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Both players were quickly issued yellow cards by the referee, but no further action was taken as the clock ticked down on an exciting game between the Premier League clubs on Sunday, 3 August.

Man United have already been warned over Fernandes‘ character, especially with the possible implementation of ref cams, and this situation has only doubled down on those concerns.
While the clubs failed to control their players, having been broken up by several of their teammates, they may be able to escape a “hefty fine” due to the game taking place overseas.
This article contains exclusive comments from ex-PGMOL chief, FIFA official and former professional referee Keith Hackett.
“When you have that type of incident, there’s no doubt that they both deserved a yellow card.
The referee has to reassert his dominance, so two yellows is the right decision.
“I think that in a tournament scenario, it’s unlikely that both clubs will be charged for failing to control their players.
That is more of a mode of operation here in England.

“It’s operated by the Football Association, with approval from the LMA, PFA, and Premier League.
With a mass confrontation at a friendly tournament in America, it’s unlikely that any sanction will be applied.
“Of course, in England, the punishment would be a hefty fine.
I don’t think that will happen in this tournament situation.
