Morgan Rogers is a frustrated figure on, and off, the pitch.
The Aston Villa forward has suffered a miserable start to the season.
Rogers is struggling produce his best under Unai Emery so far this campaign, and looks a shadow of the player he was last term.
And with Rogers not firing and Emery now under pressure, Villa‘s problems were made worse after the side failed to beat 10-man Sunderland on Sunday.
Despite seeing Reinildo sent off for Sunderland and then taking the lead through Matty Cash, the Villains were denied their first win of the season thanks to a 75th minute goal from Wilson Isidor.

Morgan Rogers has hit out at Sunderland’s social media team.

During last weekend’s game, Rogers was tackled by Sunderland full-back Trai Hume in what appeared to be a reckless challenge, and one that probably should’ve produced a card.
The 23-year-old took Rogers clean off his feet with the tackle’s force sending Villa’s No.
27 hurtling through the air and forcing him to clutch at his ankle.

Sunderland’s social media team posted highlights of the draw 24 hours after the result and it has promoted a fierce reaction from Rogers.
“Great message to send out… Dangerous tackle getting highlight reels,” the England international shared on his Instagram, accompanied by a sarcastic clapping emoji.
Clearly unhappy with Hume’s tackle and the Black Cat’s subsequent reminder, Rogers appears a frustrated figure during the early stages of the season.
Although many will agree with Rogers’ post, the FA takes a dim view of players openly criticising officiating.
Speaking about the possibility of the 23-year-old facing retrospective action, former referee Keith Hackett exclusively told Football Insider he wouldn’t be surprised if the FA handed out a punishment.
“Morgan Rogers could find himself in trouble for posting this message,” Hackett said.
“It appears to me that the FA are monitoring social media and are taking action.
Emery cannot afford to be without Rogers; arguably his best player, regardless of how much his head appears to be elsewhere.
