Burnley are keen on signing Liverpool star Fabio Carvalho this summer, sources have told Football Insider. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has the 2022 signing from Fulham could go on loan in the 2023-24 season in the next stage of the 20-year-old’s development. Burnley are keeping tabs on Carvalho’s situation ahead of the summer window opening – and are open to both permanent and loan options. Liverpool were attracted to spend a fee of £5million plus add-ons for Carvalho in 2022 after his impressive breakthrough at Fulham. He notched 11 goals and eight assists across 38 appearances for the then-Championship side in the 2021-22 campaign – his breakthrough season in senior football.
