Brandon Williams is being eyed up by a number of teams from the Championship and abroad, sources have told Football Insider.
The former Manchester United full-back has caught the attention of several clubs after a successful trial at Hull City.
Williams featured in two pre-season games for the Tigers, impressing in both, with the East Yorkshire side keen to offer him a deal.
However, Hull will face competition for the 24-year-old’s signature after his trial alerted several of their Championship rivals to his availability.
Williams has been without a club since leaving Man United in the summer of 2024 following the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford.
The defender previously spent time on loan at Ipswich Town and Norwich City, and made 51 appearances for the Red Devils during his time with the club

Back in May, Williams was given a suspended 14-month prison sentence for his role in a high-speed car crash in 2023.
However, despite his off-field issues, the Englishman is still attracting interest from clubs around Europe.
Last month (23 July), Football Insider exclusively revealed that Besiktas were plotting a move for Williams, with former United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer interested in the left-back.

Meanwhile, Cardiff City goalkeeper Ethan Horvath is expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The 30-year-old is attracting interest from a number of sides in the Championship, as well as teams from the MLS, Belgium, and Denmark.
Horvath is available on a free transfer after informing Cardiff at the end of last season that he would be leaving.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the shot-stopper wants to be playing at the highest level possible to boost his chances of making the USA squad for the tournament.
