The new week has brought a fresh wave of speculation and reports regarding Alexander Isak and his transfer situation.

Isak feels his Newcastle career over, insisting he will never pull on the black-and-white shirt again if forced to stay beyond this window.

The 25-year-old’s stance follows his decision to skip Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia, officially citing a thigh complaint but instead flying to Spain for personal training at Real Sociedad.

Isak’s latest move was to vacate his  home in Newcastle, with his three-year residence now listed for rent.

According to the Times, the property first appeared on the market the day he withdrew from the Asia tour on July 24 and was briefly withdrawn upon his return, only to be re-listed this week after going unoccupied once more.

DaveOCKOP.com reported at the beginning of August that Alexander Isak was expected to push for a move away more aggressively should the situation not accelerate.

And with a move still stalled, we can reveal that’s exactly what the Swede has done.

The player refused to play for the Magpies  and missed the club’s Sela Cup friendlies this recent weekend.

Eddie Howe has already confirmed that the 25-year-old will likely play no part for Newcastle’s opener vs Aston Villa this Saturday.

Due to all the pressure around the English manager, DaveOCKOP can reveal that Howe is believed to be now be open to the idea of Alexander Isak leaving.

Isak was irate after being informed he must remain at Newcastle, making it clear that he cannot be held responsible for the club’s failure to recruit adequate replacements.

Having indicated his desire to leave at the end of last season, Isak believes he has already invested sufficient time and effort at St

James’ Park and is unwilling to jeopardise his career by waiting on Newcastle’s transfer shortcomings.

The 25-year-old feels like his career should not be negatively affected because Newcastle can’t get their targets through the door.

Isak is currently on strike and has no plans to play against Aston Villa this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Newcastle’s search for striking reinforcements has hit multiple roadblocks.

Their preferred Isak replacement in Benjamin Sesko has chosen Old Trafford over Newcastle despite the Magpies offering more money, with United agreeing a £73.7 million deal with RB Leipzig.

Their pursuit of Porto’s Samu Aghehowa has stalled after being quoted £80 million for the Spaniard’s services.
