Everton have told Beto he is free to find a new club after falling foul of David Moyes, sources have told Football Insider.
The centre-forward, 27, is on the radar of Premier League rivals Leeds and could leave the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the next fortnight.
Sources have told Football Insider that Moyes has been unimpressed by Beto’s attitude during pre-season and is unhappy that the player has not “conformed” to his methods.
Everton are already working on bringing in a new striker, and potentially two front men if Beto leaves.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday that Everton have submitted a £37million bid for Roma striker Artem Dovbyk.
Another centre-forward could also be joining, as owners The Friedkin Group continue the overhaul of the team and the frontline in particular.

It has already been a summer of change in the forward line for the Toffees, following the news earlier in the window that Dominic Calvert-Lewin has left Everton.

The former England international had been with the Merseyside club since 2016, but his nine-year spell was brought to an end after the two parties failed to agree terms on a new contract.
After Calvert-Lewin’s exit, Everton confirmed the signing of Thierno Barry from Villarreal, but that could be just the first of three striker incomings this window.
With Beto’s future at the Hill Dickinson stadium now in doubt, the Toffees are eager to complete a deal to bring in Dovbyk from Roma, as well as potentially adding another centre-forward if the opportunity arises.

Meanwhile, Rangers are expecting to receive a number of offers for Hamza Igamane in the closing stages of the transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Glasgow giants were expecting a lot of interest in the 22-year-old this summer, but there has been no official bids for him so far.
Everton are one of the teams linked with Igamane, as they look to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of the upcoming campaign.
However, sources say that the interested clubs are waiting for the Moroccan’s asking price to drop before making any formal approaches.
