It is believed that the England right-back will be moving to Spain and joining Real Madrid.

With the departure of such a key player, a replacement was needed and Liverpool have found their man in Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong.

Official news emerged from the club yesterday that fellow right back Conor Bradley has signed a new long term deal also, with both Bradley and Frimpong expected to vye for the role next season.
