Leicester City and Norwich City are racing to sign Ukrainian midfielder Yegor Tverdokhlib, sources have told Football Insider.
German club Augsburg and Turkish side Eyupspor are also weighing up moves for the 24-year-old before the close of the transfer window.
Tverdokhlib was one of the most productive attacking midfielders in Europe last season with 14 goals and two assists in just 24 Ukraine Premier Liga games for Kryvbas.
The 24-year-old finished as the second top goalscorer in the division, behind Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladyslav Vanat, who is valued at the £17.2million mark.
Tverdokhlib is an even more attractive option for his suitors as he could be available for a relatively low fee in the next two weeks.
Both Leicester and Norwich have lofty ambitions in the Championship this season, and expect to be in the upper regions of the table come the end of the campaign.
The Foxes are back in the second tier following relegation from the Premier League, and will want to bounce back at the first opportunity.

Liam Manning is now at the helm for Norwich after making the switch from fellow second-tier side Bristol City, with play-offs being the realistic ambition for the Canaries.
The Championship duo will both be eager to secure the signature of Tverdokhlib, who has spent his whole career in Ukraine so far.
Last season, the attacking midfielder helped Kryvbas to a fifth-place finish in the Ukrainian top division with his impressive goal contribution numbers, and he has already grabbed one assist in the opening two games of the 2025/26 campaign.

Several Championship clubs are also eyeing moves for the Greek international, and it is understood that the Black Cats are willing to move him on ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
